Raymond F. Thelen, 86, formerly of the Town of Ashford, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 28, 2017 at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac. He was born on the family homestead in the Town of Ashford on May 8, 1931, the son of Leo and Eleanor (Haas) Thelen. On September 1st, 1962 he married Elaine M. Barbara Ellen Loomans, a devoted mother, grandmother and life-long resident of Waupun, WI, died unexpectedly on July 23, 2017, at the age of 64 at Waupun Memorial Hospital from a pulmonary embolism. She was born on April 22, 1998, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of James Last and Nicole Draves. Hailey was a graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School, Class of 2016. Wilford W. “Bill” Elliott, age 86 of Chilton, died on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his home in Chilton. He was born October 15, 1930 in Bear Valley, Wisconsin, son of the late Chester & Lillian (Keller) Elliott. Bill graduated from Lone Rock High School in 1948 where he was a standout boxer and baseball player. Wayne N. Brennan, 81, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, July 22, 2017, at home. He was born on September 15, 1935, in Fond du Lac, a son of William M. and Viola A. Maloof Brennan. On July 14, 1988, he married Susan Promen. Wayne worked at Rueping Leather and Mercury Marine for 31 years. He was a remodeler and repairman, always willing to help anyone who needed repairs. Johnny Johnson, III, 62, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born on February 2, 1955 in Holly Bluff, MS, the son of the late Marion and Addie Mae (Shaevers) Johnson Sr. On December 23, 1978, Johnny married Flossie Mae Cary in Yazoo City, MS. William I. Lackey, 77, of Waupun, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 after a short but courageous fight with cancer. Bill was born December 7, 1939 in Combs, Arkansas the son of Willis and Lara Deaton Lackey. Bill was proud of his career as a correctional officer at the Wisconsin State Prison in Waupun. Duaine Hoeft, 87, of Neshkoro, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. Duaine was born November 2, 1929 in the town of Eldorado, the daughter of Edward and Fern Dins.
