Gladys B. Hintz, 99, of North Fond du Lac, died Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Touchstone Living Center in North Fond du Lac surrounded by family. She was born in Fond du Lac on May 4, 1916 to Mons and Gunborg (Humleker) Anderson. On August 31, 1940, she married Leslie E. Hintz in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on August 29, 1986. Gladys lived her entire life in the Fond du Lac area, raising her sons, Morse and David. She will be remembered.. More... 

Carlton “Mac” McDermott was born on December 4, 1934 in North Fond du Lac to Ella Ida Becker and John Edward “Ed” McDermott, the fourth of their five children. Mac lived in and went to school in North Fond du Lac, graduating from NFDL High School in 1953. He worked as a mechanic at Yellowstone Garage until he joined the Army in 1957. He trained at Fort Leonard Wood MO and served with the 83rd Engineers in Chinon, France .. More... 

Henry P. Juckem, age 91, of Hilbert, died on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Funeral service will be at 11:30 am on Friday, April 15, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church (108 S. 6th St.) in Hilbert with the Rev. Michael Betley and Dcn. Steve Vande Hey officiating. Marcella Ann Harder, age 96, of Chilton, died on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at her home. She was born February 10, 1920 in Hilbert, daughter of the late Edgar & Emma (Frueck) Kissinger. She married Frederick W. Harder on June 21, 1941 and the couple farmed side by side in the Town of Chilton and raised their three sons. For 75 years, Marcella made that farm her home; it was the place where much of her story began and became much of who Marcella.. More... 

Harold J. Gerner, age 85, of Chilton, died on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Chilton. He was born August 2, 1930 in Stockbridge, son of the late Hugh & Genevieve (Holzer) Gerner. Harold served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Evelyn Konen, 89, of Chilton, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at Willowpark Place Assisted Living in New Holstein. Evelyn was born in Chilton on February 23, 1927, daughter of the late Martin and Magdalena (Gruber) Geiser. She was previously married to Frank Schneider on June 22, 1949. Melvin A. Bohlman, age 92, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on January 25, 1924 in Fond du Lac, the son of Alexander and Borghild (Anderson) Bohlman. Melvin was a 1943 graduate of Fond du Lac High School. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army stationed in the Philippines and Japan. Dalton Owen Kubelt, 93, resident of North Fond du Lac, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016. Dalton was born in Minneapolis, MN, on June 10, 1922. He was the son of Pearl Welch and Ernest Kubelt. On January 18, 1946 he married Marion Kremer at St. Mary Church, Fond du Lac. Dalton served in the United States Marines during World War II at Guam, Bougainville and Iwo Jima.
