Melvin Anthony Birschbach was born June 13, 1927 to Francis and Olivia Birschbach in Woodhull, Wisconsin. He attended Brandon High School and was a veteran of World War II. On December 29th, 1948, he married Margaret Dolan. They had one son, Jim (Lorie), Harlingen, Texas. Margaret passed away in 1970. Kathryn R. Pahl, 77, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at her home in Fond du Lac. She was born on March 10, 1939, a daughter of Lester and Kathryn Cherry Simon. On October 12, 1977, she married Edward H. Pahl. Kathryn lived in Fond du Lac her entire life, working at the telephone company, International Paper, and Giddings and Lewis. Lorraine Mildred Byrnes, 85, a resident of ManorCare Nursing Center in Fond du Lac, passed away on May 28, 2016 at the Center. She was born July 25, 1930 in Fond du Lac, a daughter of the late Edward and Leona Miskie Meilahn. On November 27, 1965, she married Maurice Francis Byrnes at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Dotyville. She was born September 12, 2001 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Robert Jr. and Colleen Hoyt Burgess. Kennedy was homeschooled with interaction with Roberts Elementary and Theisen Junior High School. She was born September 2, 1927, in Waupun, the daughter of Ralph and Esther Yanke Crain. Mary was a 1945 graduate of Waupun High School. Carl A. Gebhart, age 85, of Chilton, died on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Chilton. He was born February 18, 1931 in the Town of Charlestown, son of the late Otto and Marie (Hoffman) Gebhart. Carl served his country in the United States Army from November 19, 1951 to August 18, 1953 during the Korean War.
