Ronald “Sonny” W. Hendricks, 80 of Hancock, WI, died Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau. He was born November 10, 1938 in Menomonie, the son of William and Frances Otto Hendricks. Ronald served in the U.S. Army from 1957 – 1960, stationed in Germany. Ann M. Gruett, age 56, of Fond du Lac, died on March 21, 2019, at Harbor Haven in Fond du Lac. She was born June 14, 1962, in Chilton, daughter of the late Clayton and Dorothy Christopherson. Ann was down to earth and a straight-shooter; she wasn’t afraid to tell people if she didn’t like something. Michael R. Whiting, age 56, of Appleton passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Clement J. Zablocki Milwaukee VA Medical Center. He was born March 21, 1962 in Iowa City, IA to Theodore R. and Winifred J. (nee Brown) Whiting. Michael was united in marriage, to Maria Rodriguez on October 30, 2011. Robert Klessig, age 84, of Manitowoc, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at Hannah Home in Manitowoc. Robert was born on May 9, 1934 son of Elmer and Clara (Kalwitz) Klessig where he grew up on the family farm. Robert will be missed by his extending family at Hannah home and by his brother, Roy Klessig, of New Holstein. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lincoln and Violet. Avelene Hickmann, 94, of St. Petersburg, FL passed on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Suncoast Hospice, Pinellas Park. She was born in Catawba, Wisconsin and spent many years as an elementary teacher in Wisconsin and Florida. She taught at Tyrone and Bauder Elementary and was well respected as a teacher by students and administrators. Diane M. Gelmi. 54, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Monday, March 18, 2019 at her home in Horicon. She was born in Fond du Lac on Tuesday, November 17, 1964, a daughter of Lawrence and Genevieve T. (Gratton) Fisher. On Saturday, July 7, 2007, she married Robert “Bob” Gelmi at the Galloway House in Fond du Lac. Diane loved the Milwaukee Brewers. Judith F. Harms, age 78, of Oshkosh, died Monday, March 18, 2019, at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac. She was born on June 4, 1940, in Ashland, WI, the daughter of Ralph and Lucille (Kazekewiecz) Blahnik. On August 10, 1968, she married Albert F. Harms in Ashland, WI. Mabel A. Handy, 79, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, March 18, 2019 at Maple Meadows Assisted Living. She was born in Waushara County on Friday, July 21, 1939, a daughter of Walter and Ruth (Vollmer) Priebe. Mabel was a 1957 graduate of Lomira High School. Nancy (Angie) Duley Huck, 97, of Fond du Lac, passed away on March 19, 2019 at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on September 27, 1921 to the late Earl and Marie Duley. In 1942 she married the love of her life John Huck. Together they fulfilled their dreams as they raised their family. John, husband and father, died in 2000. Richard Tank, 83, of Waupun, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at Anchor Communities II in Brandon. Dick was born November 3, 1935 in Waupun, the son of Frank and Irma Schrauth Tank. Dick attended Waupun schools and graduated from Waupun High School in 1954. From 1958-1960 he served with the U.S. Army with most of his duty spent in Alaska.
