Rosa Sergi (nee Timpani), a resident of Fond du Lac since 2000, died peacefully on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, at the age of 83. A devout Catholic, Rosa was born in Calabria, Southern Italy on January 9, 1931 and grew up with 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Herman G. Buechel, 76, resident of Fond du Lac, passed away at St. Agnes Hospital on Friday, April 18, 2014. Herman was born in Fond du Lac on July 7, 1937, a son of Herman J. and Ludwina (Freund) Buechel. On May 15, 1965 he married Janet S. Lefeber at St. Mary Catholic Church, Fond du Lac. He was born on August 4, 1934, in Des Moines, Iowa, a son of Merle X. and Elizabeth Esther Winter Kauffman. Lee was the owner of T.E. Ahern Men’s Clothing Store for nearly 20 years. Charles “Chuck” Vellema, 94, of Brandon, formerly of the town of Waupun, died Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
