140 More People to Lose Jobs In Wake of Shopko Bankruptcy

As Shopko continues with its plans to close stores around
the country, the retailer is reporting more job losses to the state of
Wisconsin. Shopko announced Monday that 140 employees at its support center in
the Green Bay area will lose their jobs as of April 8th. The
announcement comes after Shopko announced it is closing more than 250 stores
nationwide after it filed for bankruptcy in January. 24 stores are slated to
close in Wisconsin itself.
