Agnesian HealthCare Bereavement Services To Host Provider Burnout Program

Thanks to funding from the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation, Agnesian HealthCare Bereavement Services is hosting “Preventing Provider Burnout: Eight Pathways for Self-Care” at the Marian University Stayer Center Dining Room at either 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 20. The program is free.

Join Barbara Rubel, MA, BCETS, as she helps you recognize the influence you have over a stressful and demanding job. This interactive, motivational program will focus on the FABULOUS Principle on compassion fatigue, burnout and vicarious trauma to helping professionals and victim service providers.

Rubel has experience as a hospice bereavement coordinator and bereavement group facilitator. She is a highly-regarded author and trainer on increasing self-awareness of skills and strengths that improve the ability to handle job burnout, compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. Rubel is a board-certified expert in traumatic stress.
