Agnesian HealthCare Foundation Applauded For Funding Child ID Kit Effort

The Agnesian HealthCare Foundation committed $35,000 to fund providing Child ID kits for 17,000 children in Fond du Lac County. That effort was applauded during a press conference at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac Wednesday morning. Agnesian President Steve Little told the gathering they had decided to up the ante by also funding kits for future kindergarteners over the years. The Green Bay Packers and Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin also teamed up on the effort that is going statewide. Packer great Jerry Kramer says he found out about the effort through Dallas Cowboys great Roger Staubach and the number of child abductions by strangers each year is appalling. Kramer says 56,000 children go missing a year without a clue and that is unacceptable. Kramer presented Agnesian officials and City Manager Joe Moore with a Packers helmet worn during the first Super Bowl that was signed by 26 players who played in the game. It will be on display at the hospital.  Facebook video of first child being printed
