Amtrak Bus Service Connecting Green Bay & Milwaukee on I-41 Begins Monday

A new bus service connecting Milwaukee and Green Bay, by
way of Interstate 41 is set to begin on Monday. A bus service run by Amtrak,
the national passenger rail provider, will make two daily round trips between Green
Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh and Fond du Lac with two stops in Milwaukee. One Milwaukee
stop will be at the Intermodal Station and another at Mitchell International
Airport. A press release says the new service will address gaps in transportation
resulting from Greyhound’s service cancellation, and will supplement an
existing round trip on I-41 by Lamers Bus Lines and Amtrak’s bus route between
the two cities on Interstate 43. Tickets for the service are available at Amtrak.com
or by calling 1-800-USA-RAIL.
