Another Early Morning Chase Ends With An Arrest

Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in a chase that covered numerous counties late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. FDL County Sheriff’s Deputies picked up the pursuit about 12:18 a.m. Thursday morning, off Highway 44 from Winnebago County, with reports of a 34-year old male driver of a vehicle that had reached speeds of 80 mph on Clareville Rd, and was being followed by Wisconsin State Patrol and Marquette County Sheriffs Deputies. With the use of traffic spikes, they were able to detain the vehicle, but the driver fled the scene on foot. The suspect was captured a short time after, and was taken into custody on numerous charges, including possession of meth and bail jumping. There was no word on whether the 21-year old passenger in the vehicle was charged with anything.
