Area Farms Honored

The Hounsell Family was recognized at the Wisconsin State Fair on Tuesday morning as a Sesquicentennial Farm. The total number of Sesquicentennial Awards presented was 30 and they will be added to the already 644 honored since 1998.

Linda Struye, of the Little Farmer. was presented with a Century Farm Award at the Wisconsin State Fair on Tuesday morning. Pictured are from l-r Linda’s niece Teri Mayer. Linda’s son Derek Struye, Linda, Linda’s cousin Susan Beyer Lemke. Struye was one of 126 Century Farms recognized and added to the already 8,716 properties honored since 1948
