Arlene Fenner Scholarship Winner Announced

The Foundation for Ripon Medical Center has named Melissa Morse, a Ripon High School graduate, as the 2016 recipient of the $500 Arlene Fenner Family Endowed Scholarship.

Morse will be pursuing a nursing degree at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. She is the daughter of Tanya Tiffany, of Ripon. She was chosen from among area high school seniors, pursuing a career in healthcare that plan to attend a college or university in Wisconsin.

The Arlene Fenner Family Endowed Scholarship was started in 2005 after one of Ripon Medical Center’s valued volunteers, Arlene Fenner, passed away. She gave Ripon Medical Center 22 years of dedicated and unselfish service as an associate and volunteer.

The Fenner family, knowing her love of volunteering, wanted to give something to Ripon Medical Center in her memory. After deliberation, they decided to keep her memory alive by offering an annual scholarship to area students.
