Arrests Made in September Shooting

The Fond du Lac Police Department is
announcing the arrest of a 22-year old Fond du Lac man for attempted 1st
degree Intentional Homicide in connection with a shooting incident that
occurred during the early morning hours of September 28, 2014 at the Hometown
Harbor Apartment Complex located at Seymour and Arndt Streets in the City of
Fond du Lac.   The 22-year-old suspect
was arrested without incident Friday October 17, 2014 by Investigators from the
Fond du Lac Police Department.

 
 

During the early
morning hours of Sunday, September 28, 2014, the City of Fond du Lac Police Department received
several calls of gun shots in the area of the 300 block of N. Seymour St.  First arriving officers located a male
subject lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound to his leg.  Officers were able to get the male subject to
an ambulance and he was transported to St.
Agnes Hospital
.  The shooting victim a 19-year-old Chicago man was treated
and released for his injuries.

 

In addition to the
alleged shooter, two 22-year-old Fond du Lac men
and a 28-year-old Fond du Lac
woman were arrested and taken into custody on Obstruction charges in connection
with the investigation into this incident.  

 

The
Investigation into this incident remains ongoing and additional information
will be released with the issuance of the criminal complaint.
