Attendance Up for National Night Out in FDL

It was another successful National
Night Out Event held at the Fond
du Lac
County Fairgrounds Park

Thursday. Officer Erik Foster from the Fond du Lac Police Department says they
saw an increase in attendance this year.  Foster says last year the event drew just over
700 people and this year they counted over 800 people. He says those numbers
just include people who registered at the event so this year’s attendance could
be close to or even over 900 people.
Foster says the event is a good way for the public to see members of the
local police and fire departments on a different level than normal.  He says normally people are interacting with
law enforcement on a bad day, so its good to meet and talk with people in a
different setting.
