Avery Case Sent Back to Circuit Courts

Steven Avery’s case is going back to circuit court once again. An appeals court denied his motion to present previously undisclosed evidence on Thursday. They sent the case back to circuit court to allow Avery a chance to present the evidence there. His attorney, Kathleen Zellner, is hopeful a court will allow the evidence to be examined. Avery’s legal team has 30 days to file a motion – and the court will then have 60 days to hand down an order. The U-S Supreme Court is deciding whether to discuss the case of Avery’s nephew, Brendan Dassey on June 14th – and will likely announce their decision on a possible review of his case on June 18th
