Back To School Carnival Scheduled In Waupun

Waupun – The sixth annual Back To School Carnival hosted by CrossRoads Fellowship Church is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 5, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Children age four to 11 are invited to play free games in the church’s parking-lot-turned carnival area at 846 E. Main Street, Waupun.

The free event – open to all families in the community – features game stations where children win tickets to use in exchange for supplies at the Carnival’s School Supply Store. The Back to School Carnival also includes an inflatable bounce house, cotton candy, sno-cones, face painting, raffle prizes and lunch.

“It’s a blessing being able to host the Back To School Carnival,” shared Zack Casper, associate pastor at CrossRoads Fellowship. “It’s hard to believe this is our sixth carnival but the event keeps growing. Each year we see families who are looking for something fun to do together stop by to enjoy a morning of games and fellowship, and we also see children in need be able to pick out their own supplies so they can start the school year out equipped for success.”

Families attending the event should park on the streets surrounding the church and walk to the parking lot, located on the north side of the building.
