Baldwin Announces $51 Million for Wisconsin Water, Infrastructure Projects

US Senator Tammy Baldwin is announcing
more than $51 million in Department of Agriculture Rural Agriculture Rural
Development funding to help rebuild and improve water infrastructure in Wisconsin. Baldwin pushed for strong funding through the USDA’s
Water and Waste Disposal Loan and Grant program. 

There will be nearly $35
million available in loans, with over $16.5 million in grant funding for seven
water and wastewater projects in the state.

That includes $27,611,000 in loans
and $9,479,000 in grants for water distribution and storm water drainage system
improvements in the City of Waupun.
The Manitowoc County Village of Reedsville and five other villages are also
receiving several million dollars to make improvements in water and sewer
systems.
