Baldwin Touts “Made in America Act” in Fond du Lac

Senator Tammy Baldwin made a stop in Fond du Lac on Thursday. She spoke about her “Made in America Act” after touring the facilities at Fives Giddings and Lewis.

During a press conference, Baldwin thinks it should be a bipartisan effort, and Republicans and Democrats should all agree that our nation’s infrastructure should be ‘Made in America.’ I’m hopeful my colleagues on both sides of the aisle will join me in this effort to make sure our government is buying American products and supporting American workers.”

Baldwin says in previous conversations with President Trump – he supported the legislation, along with a bill supporting the improvement of clean water infrastructure. She also expressed hope that the act would bring more manufacturing business and jobs to Wisconsin.
