Ballweg Scholarships Awarded

State Representative Joan Ballweg of Markesan recently presented her 2014 Joan Ballweg Leadership Scholarships to outstanding students across the 41st Assembly District. Each scholarship winner received their award from Ballweg during their schools’ awards night. Ballweg says, “Over the past ten years, my husband and I have had the honor to donate $26,000 to area seniors pursuing higher education. This year’s group of leaders was inspiring and I know they will bring great things to their new collegiate communities.” This year’s winners were chosen from a field of 28 applicants. Winners included Ross Dahlke of Westfied High School, Jamie Gundlach of Ripon High School, Baylee Radke of Berlin High School, Trace Thorp of Green Lake High School, and Brittany Zellmer of Montello High School.
