Barn Fire in the Town of Auburn

A barn
in the Town of Auburn in Fond du Lac County
was destroyed by fire early this (Wednesday) morning. The County Communications
Center received a call
from a property owner just after Midnight that a barn on the properly along
Highway 45 was fully engulfed by fire. The Fond du Lac County
Sheriff’s Office tells us the cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but
the barn and its contents are considered a total loss. Reports say no injuries
to humans have been reported, but it’s unknown whether any cattle had been
injured or killed in the fire. More information will be released later today.
It’s the second barn fire in as many days in the county, after a barn was
destroyed by fire in the Town of Calumet Monday night.
