Barthuly Was Considering Retirement

Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel says he’s grateful former Fond du Lac Police Chief Tony Barthuly stayed on with the Department of Justice. Barthuly was recently named the Director of the Division of Law Enforcement Services, which Schimel says became vacant when the former Director took over the Division of Criminal Investigation. He says they needed time for those changes to take effect. He says Barthuly is well respected by law enforcement state wide so his new position is a great match. Barthuly was considering retirement.
