BBB Reminds Fans of the Green & Gold to Watch Out for Ticket Scams ahead of Playoff Game

The Packers Divisional Round playoff game is still a week away, but officials with the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin are reminding people looking to score some tickets to the game to be weary of possible scams.

The BBB says fans should “use extreme caution” when it comes to buying tickets, and only buy through the team or a reputable online seller, if possible. Experts say common characteristics of ticket scams are low prices on great seats, third party sellers with no guarantees or phony websites that look legitimate.

Fans are encouraged to look at the official Packers website at Packers.com/tickets for more information about tickets and how to purchase them.

The BBB reminds consumers that its not just buying tickets that can lead them astray – as scams can pop up with team merchandise or with hotel rooms, too.
