BBBS Gets New Board Member

Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Fond du Lac County is excited to announce the addition of a new board member, Brenda Spranger, owner of Rob’s Riverwood Salon & Spa.

Brenda has been in the salon & spa industry for over 24 years. Skilled at developing teams, training the customer service cycle and workshop trainings, she is able to support each individual she trains with a systematic approach which develops empowerment, awareness, leadership and success.

From the start, Big Brothers Big Sisters has benefited from Brenda’s connection to the agency.  She and her staff have participated in the BBBS Adopt a Family and Back to School program for several years, as well as helped out around the office, including painting the BBBS activity room.  ‘Littles’ in the BBBS program have benefited from her ‘Girl Power’ sessions over the past two years.  Geared toward girls ages 8-12, Brenda met with the girls once a week for four weeks.  “We have seen a big difference in the ‘Littles’ that have been part of the ‘Girl Power’ program” said Tammy Young, Executive Director of BBBS.  “Their increased confidence after just four weeks with Brenda is amazing!”

Brenda’s passion is to inspire and support others to achieve success through repeatable systems and tools. Since 2006, she has delivered training, mentoring and support in the salon and spa industry.  Certified as a Secret Service agent under John DiJulius, Brenda’s style is interactive, experiential and establishes trust in a safe environment.  She is also a Certified Trainer with Infinite Possibilities – The Art of Living Your Dreams and is in the process of becoming a life coach with Life Creations Education.

Brenda is known for her warmth and compassion.  When not working, you can find her spending time with her family, their dog Bella or reading.
