Mark your calendar for Thursday, June 30!  Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) will be hosting their 12th annual Lobster Dinner and Auction.  BBBS has a lot in store for this year’s event, including a new location and new theme.

Festivities will start at 5:00 p.m. with the silent auction.  Packages run the gamut, from Badger and Brewer tickets, to overnight excursions to Elkhart Lake, Madison and Milwaukee.  Dinner, the program and a prize filled live auction will begin at 6:30 p.m.  Dinner features a three course gourmet meal that has attendees choosing from two 6 oz. lobster tails or an 8 oz. bacon wrapped filet mignon for $75 a person.  Surf and turf are available for $100.

The live auction features a 5 night all inclusive stay for 2 at Eagle Lake Island Lodge in Ontario, a 16 person Italian Dinner and an overnight stay in Green Bay including tickets to a Packer game, just to name a few.

Back by popular demand is the BBBS “Box of Rocks’ featuring a gorgeous piece of jewelry from The Goldsmith and bracelets made from the BBBS kids.  People will also be able to purchase tickets for a party cooler filled with beverages and snacks for a backyard extravaganza.

Reservations are requested by June 24.  They can be made by calling 920-922-8200 or e-mailing info@bbbsfdl.org.  “This is an event you do not want to miss!” Said Tammy Young, Executive Director for BBBS.  “All funds raised stay local and are used to support mentoring services for children in Fond du Lac County.”

Sponsored tables are available for $600 for a table of eight.
