Beaver Dam Man In Court Today On Robbery Charges

A 33-year-old Beaver Dam man allegedly robbed a store, burglarized the same store’s storage unit and stole prescription drugs from a homeowner to maintain a heavy drug habit. Joshua Benson will make an initial appearance in Dodge County Court this afternoon on charges stemming from those alleged crimes.  According to the criminal complaint Joshua Benson used a pocket knife to rob a BP Gas Station of more than $480 in cash and checks last December and stole nearly $1,000 worth of liquor from the store’s storage unit during a burglary in May. He also allegedly stole prescription drugs and a check from a Beaver Dam couple last February.
