Bethesda Lutheran Promotes Anderson To COO

Watertown, WI – Bethesda Lutheran Communities recently announced Lori Anderson as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the organization. In the interim, she will continue her duties as Vice President of Operations.
 
One of the key roles in her new position will be overseeing services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her in-depth knowledge of Bethesda’s operational services will allow her to support programs from every level of the organization.  
 
“Along with providing the best possible services for the people we support, I’m excited about establishing priorities for Bethesda’s operations to strategically drive the growth of our Christian organization,” Anderson said.  
 
Since 2013 she has had several roles with Bethesda including Regional Director for California. She managed referral relationships, developed an innovative new management structure and provided leadership for Bethesda’s programs.
 
Anderson also served as Area Director for Bethesda in Missouri where she focused on quality improvement as she developed new residential support programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
 
Before joining Bethesda, Anderson served as the Vice President of Mission Services for Goodwill in Springfield, Illinois. She also spent a number of years in New Mexico with Community Options, Inc., as their State Director and held the  position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Unified Health Solutions, Inc., in Dayton, Ohio.

Anderson has a master’s degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio.
