Big Acts Coming To The FDL County Fair

After sticking with regional entertainment for its Grand Stand last summer the Fond du Lac County Fair has lined up some big acts for this July. Ted Nugent and Martina McBride will be performing at the fair. Fair Manager Matt Immel says going to free admission for the fair allowed them to do things differently. He says they can charge for Grand Stand entertainment and will also be charging $5 to park on the grounds. Ted Nugent will be coming back to the fair for the fourth time. Immel says he has drawn a good crowd each time he has been here. Immel says McBride was only here once before when she was just starting to make a name for herself in Country Music. Nugent will perform Saturday of the Fair and McBride on Friday. Also new this year the fair will have Professional Bull Riding and Barrel Riding competition on the Thursday of the fair.
