Bond Set for I-41 Pursuit Suspect

The man accused of leading Fond du Lac County deputies on a high speed chase earlier this week is now being held on $15-thousand dollars cash bond. 27-year old Kevin O’Brien of Sussex appeared in court on Thursday, facing charges of second degree recklessly endangering safety, fleeing an officer, and bail jumping.
A deputy clocked his vehicle going over 100-miles an hour along Interstate 41 around 7:30pm Monday night. The 12-mile pursuit ended in Dodge County, after another deputy used tire deflation devices to stop the chase.
No injuries were reported, but an uninvolved vehicle also sustained tire damage. The Sheriff’s Office will reportedly cover that cost.
O’Brien is set to appear for his preliminary hearing on Thursday.
