Brian Foster Resigning From FDL City Council

Fond du Lac City Council Brian Foster announced during Wednesday night’s City Budget meeting that he is stepping down from the Council. Foster told fellow Council members he and his wife have sold their home and are moving just outside of town. But he says the demands of his job as Warden of Green Bay Correctional Institution are taking time away from other interests including the City Council. Foster was originally appointed to the Council to replace Councilman Rob Vande Zande when he stepped down. He completed that term and was elected to another. He says he’s enjoyed his time on the Council. He says City staff has done a great job in preparation for this year’s budget. Foster’s last meeting will be on October 14th when the Council will hold a public hearing on the 2016 City Budget.
