Broadband Survey Request
Once again Fond du Lac County residents are being asked to participate in a survey about broadband or high speed internet access in the County. This time the state’s Public Service Commission asked for the County’s assistance in the effort. County Director of Administration Erin Gerred says there are surveys for both residential and business use. She says it is similar to an effort the County was previously involved in. She says they got a better response from residential users in the County’s survey. She says there are a couple of websites to go to if you haven’t already taken the County’s survey, but if you don’t have access to the internet you can still get a copy of the survey to fill out. Paper copies are available through the PSC by calling (608) 267-2338 or Gerred’s office at (920) 929-3156 or stopping by her office on the 4th floor of the City-County Government Center in Fond du Lac. The survey has to be completed by August 15th.
If you have Internet access at home or your business, please complete the survey online at http://www.wisconsindashboard.org/residence-survey or http://www.wisconsindashboard.org/business-survey.
