Brockman Enters Plea in Dodge County Court

A 19-year-old man from Campbellsport
entered a not guilty plea in Dodge County Court Wednesday to felony burglary
charges related to an attempted break-in at the BP gas station in Lomira in
August. Prosecutors say Sean Brockman and a 16-year-old accomplice attempted to
gain entry to the business when it was closed by throwing a rock through the
door. Investigators identified the suspect’s vehicle through security camera
footage and traced it back to Brockman. He reportedly confessed to the burglary
along with several other break-ins in the area that night. In all instances, a
rock was used to break glass, with cigarettes, liquor and cash among the items
taken. Brockman also admitted his role in two burglaries at businesses in West Bend, one at a pool
supply store and one at a gas station. He was sentenced to 100 days in jail for
that break-in last month in Washington
County
court. If
convicted of Attempted Burglary as a Party to a Crime in Dodge County
court, Brockman faces a maximum sentence of over six years in prison.
