Bull Gets Loose During Traffic Accident

Rescue efforts at the scene of a two-vehicle accident this morning in Fond du Lac got interesting. It happened about 9:30 a.m. at the busy intersection of Rolling Meadows Drive and Johnson Street. Fond du Lac Fire Chief Peter O’Leary says a car and pick-up truck collided. He says what made it interesting was the truck was towing a trailer with bulls in it and one of them got loose. Another trailer was brought in and officers safely got the bull into it. One person suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to St. Agnes Hospital. Firefighters from the Town of Fond du Lac, Fond du Lac Police, Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies and the State Patrol also responded to the scene. Photo submitted by KFIZ listener.
