Burglary Spree In FDL

In light of a burglary spree in Fond du Lac over the past week police are advising business owners to make sure everything is secure before they leave for the night or weekend. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says businesses in the business complex on Pioneer near Western, in the professional center on Peters Avenue, in the Cobblestone Square and the Oasis Family Restaurant have been hit. He says police are distributing crime prevention flyers to businesses to try and prevent further victims. Klein says detectives believe the crimes are connected because of the time frame and methods being used. He says making sure a business is secure and has proper security can help. He says to make sure all windows and doors are locked before you leave for the night or weekend. He says they also advocate having a good security system.  He says anyone with information about the burglaries should give them a call at (920) 906-5555 or the Crime Alert number at 322-3740.
