Calling All Artists

Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts (THELMA) is seeking artists to submit their work by May 1 for the annual Membership Exhibition.

An annual tradition that has become a favorite at THELMA, is an opportunity for area artists to show their work in THELMA’s stunning Contemporary Wing. The exhibit will be held May 25 through September 9. An opening reception will be held Thursday, May 25 from 5 to 8 pm.

Submissions are open to all Friends of THELMA, members of Fond du Lac Visual Arts, Fond du Lac Artists Association, Open Door Artists, and Sheboygan Visual Artists (at time of registration). The exhibit will be juried. The juror will be announced at a later date.

Completed registration forms and images must be received by 5 pm, Monday May 1 in order to be included in the jurying process. More information and registration forms can be found on THELMA’s website at https://www.thelmaarts.org/event/2017-membership-exhibition/. Please send questions to info@thelmaarts.org.

THELMA’s Contemporary Wing is free to the public, thanks to the generosity of Horicon Bank. Horicon Bank has a tradition steeped in art and shares the belief that art should be accessible to all.

The gallery is open from 10 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, from 11 am to 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays and during events. Check THELMA’s website for any changes in the hours due to private events.

THELMA is located at 51 Sheboygan St., in the heart of Downtown Fond du Lac’s Arts and Entertainment District. THELMA is a member-based, privately-funded non-profit dedicated to providing arts experiences not readily available in the area. Intimate concerts in the Great Hall, street concerts with major performers, indoor films, and art from world-renowned artists are available at THELMA. THELMA also offers a stunning backdrop for weddings, meetings and all social and corporate gatherings.
