Camo Quilt Fundraising Dinner At Oscar’s Tonight
A project that makes quilts for U.S. soldiers serving in the Middle East will benefit from a fund raising dinner at Oscar’s Sportsman’s Inn in Fond du Lac tonight from 4 to 8 p.m. Fond du Lac American Legion Auxiliary Unit #75 is raising money for the Camo Quilt Project, which is headquartered in Plymouth. The cost of each quilt is $25 and made by volunteers. To date over 18,000 have been donated, upon request. The owner of Oscar’s, Dave Lallier is donating all the food that will be served tonight. The special dinner will include spaghetti, lasagna and more. Those who would like to donate to the Camo Quilts Project can send those donations to Camo Quilts, c/o American Legion Auxiliary Unit #75, P. O. Box 1361, Fond du Lac, WI 54936-1361.
