Campaign Underway To Collect Bare Essentials For FDL Salvation Army Food Pantry

A week long effort to collect so-called “bare essentials” for the Fond du Lac Salvation Army’s Food Pantry is under way. Director of Social Services Ron Jacobson says they need things like toothpaste, toilet paper, facial tissue, shampoo, soap, laundry soap, diapers, wipes, feminine products, deodorant, etc. He says there is about 18 drop off locations around the City. KFIZ even has a drop off box. Jacobson says people who come to the pantry are very grateful to see those types of products available. Although the campaign only runs through next Monday, the Salvation Army always is in need of these types of products for their pantry.
