Campbellsport HS Teacher Named State Finalist for Teaching Award

A teacher in the Campbellsport School District has been
named a finalist for a national teaching award. Stephanie Ballard, a science
teacher at Campbellsport High School, is one of six finalists from Wisconsin
for the 2019 Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science
Teaching. The award is considered the highest honor given by the U.S.
Government for math and science teachers. Applications from Wisconsin’s
finalists will be judged at the national level by a committee organized by the
National Science Foundation, which administers the awards on behalf of the
White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Awardees receive professional
development opportunities, $10,000 from the National Science Foundation and a
