Campbellsport Man Sentenced In Drunken Driving Homicide Case

A 25-year-old Campbellsport man has been sentenced to 5
years in prison and 25 years of extended supervision for a September 2012
drunken driving accident that killed an Eden couple and injured their teenage
daughter. Daniel Shea was sentenced today in Fond du Lac County Court
on to two counts of Homicide by Intoxicated Use of a Vehicle . Shea was driving
drunk on Highway 45 in the Town of Auburn on September 13th
of 2012 when he hit another car. Paul and Joanne Grahl of Eden were killed in the
crash and their 13-year-old daughter Esther was seriously injured. His blood
alcohol level was more than 2 1/2 times (.218) the legal limit when his blood
was collected about 90 minutes after the accident. He also told an officer he
had been reading and sending text messages. Judge Gary Sharpe also ordered Shea
to do 40 hours of community service each of the years that’s he’s on extended
