Car-Cycle Accident

At 1:48 pm on April 20^th 2013, a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputy observed a southbound motorcycle that was speeding on CTH RP in the town of friendship.  As the Deputy turned around in an attempt to pull the violator over, he observed the cycle driver lose control, cross the center line and then collide with a northbound vehicle in front of Penelope’s Tavern at N8511 CTH RP.  The cycle driver, Chad A. Hills, then left on foot and entered the tavern and was taken into custody shortly thereafter.  The driver of the northbound vehicle, Larry A. Henning, was transported to St Agnes Hospital for non- life threatening injuries.  Chad Hills was also transported by the North Fond du Lac ambulance to St Agnes and was treated for head injuries.  Chad Hills was arrested for OWI causing injury, bail jumping, resisting and numerous traffic citations.   The Wisconsin State Patrol performed the traffic investigation.
