Car Fire In FDL

Fond du Lac Firefighters responded to a car fire at 595 East Scott Street at 4:30 this morning. When firefighters arrived the car was fully engulfed in flames adjacent to a residence. Residents of the home were evacuated and firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading to the home. However, there was damage to the exterior of the home. The cause of the fire is being investigated. The fire completely destroyed the vehicle. No one was injured during the fire. Police provided assistance at the scene.
