Car Versus Deer Accident Could Have Been More Serious

A 50-year-old woman escaped serious injury when a deer went through the front windshield of her vehicle on Highway 151 northbound at South Hickory Street in Fond du Lac Tuesday night. Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue took her to St. Agnes Hospital. A fire department official says the accident would have been more serious if the deer had landed just a few inches over. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene and a dog in the vehicle was turned over to the woman’s husband.  The crash was handled by the Sheriff’s Department shortly before 7 p.m. Tuesday night.
