Celebrate Community This Weekend

The president of United for Diversity’s Board of Directors says she was one of those who recently stood out at the corners of Johnson and Main to protest President Trump’s travel ban. Tracy Abler says it was a cold day, but the right thing to do. She says it is just not who we are as Americans to turn people away. This Saturday United for Diversity will hold its 10th Annual Celebrate Community event at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Recreation Center. It helps promote a better understanding of differences in culture and ethnicity. She says it is important to hold such events. Hours for the event are from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 30 booths, music, food and more will be featured at Celebrate Community.
