Chicago Man Arrested for Human Trafficking in Wisconsin

A Chicago man is being held in the Outagamie County Jail – accused of human trafficking in nine states, including Wisconsin. Glenwood Brown, Junior was arrested on suspicion of trafficking two women in hotel rooms around Appleton and Grand Chute.

A criminal complaint says Brown coerced women into prostitution and then he profited financially from their actions. Investigators found 225 ads for prostitution in Alabama, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin.

They say he used a website called Backpage.com, which was taken over and shut down by federal authorities investigating its use by sex traffickers.
