Chicago Man Sentenced For Selling Heroin In FDL

A 26-year-old Chicago, Illinois man was sentenced in Fond du Lac County Court Tuesday on drug trafficking charges. Kevin McMullen was sentenced to 10 years in prison and 5 years of extended supervision. District Attorney Eric Toney says, “Our law enforcement partners within the City of Fond du Lac Police Department put together a strong investigation which resulted in a heroin possession with intent to deliver conviction as a repeat drug offender. We are pleased that the requested 10 year prison sentence was granted. Based upon the sentence I believe Judge English recognizes heroin’s addictive nature and danger which causes heroin to be a destructive drug within our community. This sentence helps send a message that our court system takes drugs and heroin seriously.”
