Company Aims to Revitalize Former BonTon Stores

The company that bought the bankrupt BonTon stores chain is aiming to reopen closed retail outlets around Wisconsin and three other states. CSC Generation is reportedly discussing the plan with landlords. A dozen Wisconsin stores closed after BonTon declared bankruptcy – shutting down Younkers, Carson’s, and Boston Store locations. CSC plans to reopen the stores if they can get approval from a court. They also claim to be “saving companies from Amazon” – according to the CSC website. There is no work on whether all seven brand name stores will be kept.
