Congressman Grothman On Effort To Repeal Obamacare

Congressman Glenn Grothman says it is important for Congress to deal with Obamacare. The House voted Tuesday for a full repeal of the Affordable Care Act. The effort passed by a vote of 239 to 186. Grothman says President Obama promised millions of Americans that their health care costs would decrease and that if they liked their current health care plans they would be able to keep them. The federal lawmaker from Campbellsport says it’s not living up to its promise. He says some day it will lead to rationing and government micro-managing of health care and will be devastating for businesses and individuals as the taxes for the program come in. The House of Representatives over the past two years has repeatedly tried to repeal all or parts of Obamacare. Grothman says Republicans need to stick together in such efforts. He says that way the public knows if a Republican President is elected Affordable Care Act will be repealed. The bill now goes to the Republican-controlled Senate. The President has said he would veto the bill.
