Congressman Tom Petri Receive Spirit Of Enterprise Award
Congressman Tom Petri recently received the "Spirit of Enterprise" award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for his work in the 112th Congress. The award is given to select Members of Congress based on their voting records that support the American business community. "I'm delighted to receive this award," said Petri. "Government policies should be smart and support the business community. That's where jobs are created and that's how we'll really get the economy moving again." The Chamber's "Spirit of Enterprise" award is given annually to Members of Congress based on rankings for key business votes outlined in its yearly publication How They Voted. This is the 25th year the U.S. Chamber has formally honored the accomplishments of Members of Congress.
