Conversation On State Of Politics In America Held At UW-FDL


Wisconsin’s 6th Congressional District Representative Tom Petri (left), UW-Fond du Lac Dean and CEO John Short (center) and former 7th District Congressman David Obey (right) at a public forum on the state of politics in America held at UW-Fond du Lac on March 27 in the Prairie Theater. Petri and Obey participated in an informal conversation about the importance of restoring civility and respect in our political discourse. They also answered questions from audience members about some of the major issues in public policy today. The event was sponsored by UW-Fond du Lac and the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service (WIPPS).

How interesting. Republicans calling for a return to civility in politics??? What would they find to talk about then?
