Cops For Kids Organizing Christmas Distribution

The Fond du Lac Cops for Kids Foundation is organizing its Christmas distribution program for needy families. Officer Ragan Pecore coordinates the effort. Each adopted family gets a bag of food, a gift card, and age appropriate gifts for each child. They get a lot of referrals, but Pecore says you can contact him at the Police Department if you have a family in mind. He believes the program allows people to know that they are not being overlooked during a holiday associated with giving. He says when they distribute the gifts and food to families they get a lot of hugs and there is a lot of emotion.
