Cost Of Living Index For FDL County Remains Below The National Average For 2016
The Cost of Living Index for Fond du Lac County remained below the national average in 2016. According to the Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation the after after-tax cost for a professional/managerial standard of living is 96.8 or 3.2% below the national average of 100.0. Each quarter the FCEDC collects data for the Cost of Living Index. The composite index of 96.8 for the Fond du Lac area is based on six different categories: grocery items, housing, utilities, transportation, health care, and miscellaneous goods and services.
