Cost Of Living Index In FDL County Remains Below National Average
The Cost of Living Index continues to be below the national average in Fond du Lac County. According to Envision Greater Fond du Lac officials the index during the last quarter was at 94.6 percent. The national average is 100 percent. The Cost of Living Index measures regional differences in the cost of consumer goods and services for professional and managerial households in the top income bracket. The Wisconsin Rapids area had the least expensive Cost of Living Index in Wisconsin during the second quarter at 91.7 percent.
